Our thoughts go out to the school communities affected by the Queensland bushfires.

Many of these communities are the same ones that have been facing prolonged periods of drought.

In particular our school communities in parts of the Toowoomba and Rockhampton dioceses are facing an ongoing threat from the bushfires.

There are a number of resources available for schools, including information about current school closures on the Queensland Government website.
