As many of our RI/PJP schools will finish their year before the next edition of Communique, I would like to acknowledge our departing RI/PJP principals and thank one and all for their contribution to Catholic education in Queensland.

This year we say farewell to:

• Diarmuid O’Riordan, Principal at St Edmund’s College, Ipswich, who has accepted a new position as EREA Regional Director, Southern Region in 2020
• Paulina Skerman, Principal at St Patrick’s College, Townsville, who has accepted the role of Principal at Santa Sabina College, Sydney
• Michael Senior, foundation Principal at Ambrose Treacy College, Indooroopilly, who is retiring after a 40 year career which has included guiding the transition of Nudgee Junior College from a Year 4-12 college into its new phase as the Year 4-12 Ambrose Treacy College.

We wish them all well on the next stage of their journey.

We are also saying farewell to Executive Officer of the RI/PJP Education Committee Alison Terrey who is retiring from the role this year.

We wish Alison all the best in her future endeavours and thank her for her many years of dedication to the Catholic education sector as teacher, principal and administrator.
