The Ministerial Taskforce on Senior Assessment and Tertiary Entrance held its final meeting for the year yesterday. 

Education Minister Grace Grace chaired the meeting which reflected on the first year of the new system and the work to be done as the first cohort of students move into Year 12 in 2020. 

There remains a strong focus on ensuring effective communication with students and families as they progress through the new system and in supporting staff as they navigate their way through the changes. 

All sectors are working closely together through the taskforce and in many other ways to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
