The theme for Catholic Education Week 2020 has now been endorsed by the Commission. 

175 Years – A Spirited Tomorrow acknowledges the 175th anniversary of the opening of the first Catholic school in Queensland, drawing on the long tradition of Catholic education as we look to the future.

The theme also references the work of the Plenary Council in discerning the way forward for the Church in Australia.

Catholic Education Week will be celebrated in Week 3 of Term 3 (from Sunday, 26 July to Saturday, 1 August 2020) and the official launch will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Brisbane.
