Last week I participated in the National Catholic Education Commission April meeting.

The meeting provided an opportunity to hear updates from all states and territories on key issues affecting Catholic schools.

The Commission discussed a number of the key current national education policy issues including the new Review of Initial Teacher Education, review of the Australian Curriculum, and the ongoing work of the National School Resourcing Board in relation to funding.

The next Commission planning day and meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 June.
