Bicentenary of Catholic Education in Australia Mass
Catholic school communities across the country gathered on Monday, 24 May to attend a Mass to celebrate the Bicentenary of Australian Catholic education.
Lee-Anne and QCEC Chair Margaret White attended the Brisbane Mass at St Stephen’s Cathedral at the invitation of Brisbane Catholic Education.
Masses were held in all Queensland dioceses and it was wonderful to see celebrations as unique as each of our regions. You can view the gallery below.
It was a joyous and momentous occasion nationally to celebrate the rich and vibrant history of Catholic education in Australia which has now grown to serve over 777,000 students.
