I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks and best wishes, and those of the Catholic sector, to retired CEO of Independent Schools Queensland David Robertson, who finished up his role at ISQ last month.

We are very fortunate in Queensland that the Catholic, Independent, and state sectors work closely together to try to ensure the best outcomes for all students.

David has been a wonderful advocate for Independent schools and a much valued colleague of those who have worked with him.

I also take this opportunity to welcome the new CEO Chris Mountford. I am sure we will continue our close working relationship with ISQ under Chris’s leadership.
