The Congregation for Catholic Education has released a new document entitled The Identity of Catholic Schools for a Culture of Dialogue.

The document underpins the identity of Catholic schools and the challenges faced while focusing on “the need for a clearer awareness and consistency of the Catholic identity of the Church’s education institutions throughout the world.”

Another key focus is around the prevention of ‘conflicts and divisions in the essential sector of education’.
