QCEC Executive Director Lee-Anne Perry and Director Education, Yvonne Ries, met with the Minister for Training and Skills Development, Di Farmer, to discuss VET opportunities following the QCEC VET Forum in May. 
 
The meeting provided an opportunity to follow up on a number of issues raised at the Forum and to discuss further opportunities that might be developed for students pursuing VET qualifications at school. 

Capital funding to ensure training facilities meet the industry standards and can support high quality training was also discussed.
