Are you interested in becoming an Assessor of Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers?

Expressions of Interest (EOI) in training and appointment as an Assessor for 2023 are now open.

The training for eligible participants will be delivered across two training days in Brisbane by the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT). The certification of HAT and LTs is a national approach to voluntary certification based on the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST).

Assessors review the applicant’s portfolio of evidence and then make a recommendation to the Certifying Authority (QCT) on whether the applicant demonstrates the APST at the relevant Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher career stage.

Applications will close at 4pm on Wednesday 12 October. EOI’s can be submitted online through the QCEC Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher website here.
