I would like to commend Sarah Savage from St Elizabeth’s Primary School, Tarragindi for her outstanding achievement as part of the 38th Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards.

The Year 3 student was awarded first place in the lower primary section category for her poem entitled Clash.

The young poet submitted her entry in response to this year’s theme In My Opinion, which provided students with the freedom to use their voice to tackle any topic.
