Last week I had my Term 4 meeting with Education Minister Grace Grace MP. 

The Minister advised that she is currently considering whether to engage an independent expert for the Review of Education (Accreditation on Non-State Schools) Act or to conduct the review internally by the Department of Education. Either way, the Minister is optimistic that the review will be completed within the first half of 2023 and that recommendations accepted by the government should be implemented by 2024.

I took the opportunity to thank the Minister for the collaborative work around the Respectful Relationships Education resources and informed the Minister that Catholic School Authorities have welcomed the ability to engage in cross sectoral professional development.
